Nearly $2000 in cash prizes for contests in banjo, fiddle, dance, dulcimer, string band, singing, youth fiddle, and youth banjo. Various workshops and family activities are scheduled to take place throughout the weekend.

Located on a 70+ acre farm owned by the Daniel Boone Jaycees about a mile east of downtown Morehead, the Morehead Old Time Music Festival is an unique display of the diverse culture in this region of the Appalachian Mountains. So come celebrate Old Time music in the heart of the Daniel Boone National Forest and don't forget your instruments because there will be a lot of jamming.
